This week was a good and hard week for me....
We
did divisions in Tupã again with another dupla and it was awesome! We
marked lots of baptism dates and received revelation to help them! It
was such a cool experience! We were happy with their progress and were
happy to stay with them for a few days to learn and help them out. Great
sisters with lots of potencial!
We got home
to Planalto and rushed to confirm people to bring to church- it was
chaotic but we managed to teach and find more people to bring to church.
Unfortunately our baptisms for the week fell through--- C. (who said
that she knew I was sent to her for a reason) hadn't talked to her
husband about her decision to be baptized and so when we went there to
take her to the interview--- she said that her husband was really mad
and that they had fought about her baptism and that she thought it would
be better to wait until he cooled down. We assumed because we had asked
her several times that her husband was on board, but we never talked to
him because he travels for work--- and then she dropped the bad news on
us. We tried everything but ended up not having her baptism this week- I
have faith that this upcoming week will be better for her.... sad
times...but happy that she still wants to progress!
